Kyabobo National Park rises over rugged mountains and rivers, with elephants, monkeys and hundreds of bird species hidden in its forest. Kete Krachi, a historic lakeside town, once hosted a famous oracle, and the Krachi people still honour their river deities. Facilities are very basic, so a local guide is a must.
