Kit Mikayi tour packages visit a striking pile of massive granite boulders balanced on one another, in the Seme area west of Kisumu. The name means ‘stone of the first wife’ in Luo, and the site is a place of prayer and ceremony. A guide explains the legends, and visitors can climb between the rocks and look into caves. The summit gives wide views across the Kano plains. It is about 40 kilometres from Kisumu.
