January to March and July to October are the driest and sunniest months for Diani. April and May bring heavy rain, while November and December have short showers.
Four to five nights are ideal for a Diani beach holiday with a day trip to Wasini. Add a night for Shimba Hills.
Fly to Ukunda airstrip near Diani from Nairobi, or to Mombasa and drive about 90 minutes south via the Likoni ferry or the Dongo Kundu bypass.
