Guelmim-Oued Noun tour packages explore the Atlantic gateway to the Moroccan Sahara, a region of rocky coast, oases and old caravan towns. The coastal town of Sidi Ifni, once a Spanish enclave, keeps Art Deco buildings, and Legzira Beach is famous for its red sandstone sea arches. The town of Guelmim has a traditional camel market, and the empty shore at Plage Blanche stretches for kilometres. The region is quiet, and best visited from October to April when it is mild.

October to April is the best period, with mild days. Summer is hot inland, but the coast is cooler.

Sidi Ifni is about 160 km south of Agadir, a drive of around two hours. Guelmim has a small airport with domestic flights.
