Testour tour packages visit a town on the Medjerda river founded in the 17th century by Muslim and Jewish refugees from Andalusia. Red-tiled roofs, a clock tower and a unique minaret with a Spanish-style appearance set it apart, and the Great Mosque has a famous clock with numerals that run backwards. The town holds an annual Malouf music festival. It is a calm, charming stop between Tunis and Dougga.
