This chain of small coral islands, officially Kepulauan Seribu, has white sand, clear shallows and good snorkelling around Pramuka, Harapan and Tidung. Some islands have resorts, while others offer simple homestays. Day trips are possible, though one or two nights give time to enjoy the sunsets. Boats leave from Marina Ancol and Muara Angke.
