October to April is calmer for the Banda Sea and Banda Islands, while the Kei Islands are best from November to March. Check local weather as the monsoon pattern differs across the islands.

Fly to Jakarta or Makassar and continue to Ambon's Pattimura Airport. From Ambon, small planes or ferries run to the Banda and Kei islands.
