The prefecture holds Narita International Airport and the lively temple town around Naritasan Shinshoji, while Tokyo Disney Resort at Urayasu is a major draw for families. Further south the Boso Peninsula has beaches, fishing ports and the quiet town of Kamogawa with its marine park. The hilly Sawara area keeps Edo-period canal houses. Chiba is easy to combine with a Tokyo stay, especially at the start or end of a Japan trip.
