March to October is best for the hills and the national park. The islands and east coast beaches are best from March to September.
Two days cover Genting Highlands, while Cameron Highlands needs two or three. Add three for Taman Negara or Tioman.
Fly to Kuala Lumpur and continue by road. Genting is about an hour away, Cameron Highlands about three and a half, and Kuantan about four.
