The Cennet and Cehennem sinkholes, near Narlıkuyu, are two huge limestone dolines, Heaven and Hell, created by collapsed caves. A stairway with 452 steps descends into Heaven, where a small chapel stands. Hell is a dark and steep pit that is only viewed from above. Narlıkuyu village nearby has a Roman bath with a mosaic of the Three Graces, turned into a museum.
