Global Village is a seasonal cultural and entertainment park that opens in winter, usually from October to April. Dozens of country pavilions sell crafts, clothes, food and souvenirs, including an India pavilion that is popular with homesick visitors, while stage shows, a carnival zone and fireworks run each night. Prices at the entry gate are modest compared with most Dubai attractions. Global Village tour packages work well as an easy evening add-on for families, ideally on weekdays when queues are shorter.
