Ganh Da Dia is a National Monument on the coast of the former Phu Yen province, where thousands of hexagonal basalt columns stack up like plates beside the sea. Visitors walk along the rocks, watch the waves crash against them and pose for photos at the sunset. The stone is slippery, so wear shoes with good grip. It is best between March and August, and about 30 kilometres north of Tuy Hoa.
