Doc Let is a long, pale beach on a peninsula about 50 kilometres north of Nha Trang, known for its calm water and relaxed resorts. The sand is fine and clean, and the shoreline is far less busy than the city. Seafood is fresh and inexpensive, and families enjoy the shallow sea. It is best between February and August. Many visitors come for a day trip, but a night allows an unhurried sunset.
