Mui Ne is a beach town on the Phan Thiet coast, known for its red and white sand dunes, kitesurfing and seafood. Visitors take jeep tours at sunrise to the White Sand Dunes, wade through the Fairy Stream canyon and see the colourful fishing harbour. The wind is strongest from November to April, which suits kitesurfers, while swimming is gentle in other months. Two nights are enough, and resorts line the main beach road.
