Tay Ninh tour packages are among the easiest day trips from Ho Chi Minh City, with the unusual Cao Dai Holy See and the 986-metre Black Virgin Mountain, the highest peak in the southern plains. The Cao Dai faith blends elements of Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity, and visitors can watch midday ceremonies from a gallery. The province now also includes the former Long An area, home to the Tan Lap Floating Village and wetlands. Dau Tieng Lake adds boating and calm sunsets. Pilgrims visit the mountain in large numbers around Tet.
