Lura Lakes tour packages take nature lovers to the mountain lakes of Lura National Park, set among old beech and pine forest on the Lura range. Around a dozen glacial lakes lie at roughly 1,200 to 1,700 metres, mirroring the trees and the surrounding peaks. Marked trails, picnic spots and basic shelters make it good for day walks and camping in summer, while wildlife includes deer, wolves and brown bears. The park is a peaceful alternative to the busier alpine valleys further north.
