Lezhë County tour packages cover the quieter coast north of Durrës and the highlands of Mirdita. The town of Lezhë holds the memorial tomb of Skanderbeg, Shëngjin is a port town with a wide sandy beach, and the wild headland of the Cape of Rodon has a medieval fortress and a small church. Inland, the Kune-Vain wetlands attract migrating birds. The county sees far fewer visitors than the Riviera, so beaches are relaxed and prices are low. It works well as a one or two night stop between Tirana and Shkodër, best from May to September.
