June to September is best for Theth, Lake Koman and the beach at Velipojë. Spring and autumn suit the city and the castle.
Four to five days let you see Shkodër, spend a night or two in Theth and take the Koman ferry. Add a beach day for Velipojë.
Shkodër is about two hours by road from Tirana. Indian travellers generally fly into Tirana and continue by private transfer.
