Schleswig-Holstein tour packages cover Germany’s northernmost state, which lies between the North Sea and the Baltic and borders Denmark. The brick-gabled Hanseatic city of Lübeck is a UNESCO site known for its marzipan, while the island of Sylt has dunes, wide beaches and seafood. Kiel hosts the world’s largest sailing event each June, and Flensburg is a pretty fjord port close to Denmark. Mud-flat walking in the Wadden Sea National Park is a distinctive experience. The climate is cool and breezy, so pack layers.
