County Tipperary tour packages explore Ireland’s great inland county of fertile plains, castles and abbeys. The Rock of Cashel is a spectacular medieval complex on a limestone outcrop, Cahir Castle is one of the best-preserved castles in the country, and the Glen of Aherlow brings forest walks and mountain views. The county is a popular stop between Dublin and the south-west. It is known for its horse breeding, hurling passion and cheerful market towns, and is roughly two hours from Dublin.

Cashel is about two hours from Dublin by road via the M7 and M8. Trains stop at Thurles, Tipperary and Cahir, but a car is more convenient.
