Chocó tour packages explore one of the wettest and most biodiverse regions on Earth, a Pacific coast of black-sand beaches, jungle waterfalls and humpback whales. Nuquí and Bahía Solano are the main bases for eco-lodges, hot springs and whale-watching from July to October, while Capurganá offers Caribbean-side beaches near Panama. Access is by small plane or boat. Plan four to five days, and expect simple facilities and warm rain. Pack light rain gear, since showers are common in every month.
