Guerrero tour packages cover Mexico’s Pacific beaches and the silver-hilled town of Taxco. Acapulco is the classic resort with cliff divers and a long bay, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo offers a calmer beach scene, and Taxco is a baroque hill town filled with silversmiths. Most governments advise against travel to Guerrero because of crime, so check current guidance carefully and avoid the state unless you are travelling with a trusted local operator. Beaches are best from November to April.

November to April is the driest and most comfortable period; summers are very hot, humid and storm-prone.
Three to four nights cover a beach stay with a day trip to Taxco. Longer trips are generally not recommended while advisories remain in place.
The US and many other governments advise against travel to Guerrero. Indian travellers should follow MEA advice, stay in well-known resort areas only if needed and prefer safer states.
