June to September has the best weather. Icebergs are most visible from May to early July, and whales arrive in summer.
Four days cover St. John's and the east coast. A trip to Gros Morne and L'Anse aux Meadows needs at least seven days because of distance.
Fly to Toronto, Montreal or Halifax and take a connecting flight of 2 to 3 hours to St. John's. Total journey time is around 24 hours.
