May to September has clear skies and comfortable temperatures. Uluru is very hot in summer and can be cold at night in June and July.
Three days are enough for Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Add three or four days for Darwin and Kakadu.
Fly to Sydney or Melbourne and then take a domestic flight to Ayers Rock Airport at Uluru. Some routes connect through Alice Springs or Cairns.
