March to May and September to November are the most pleasant months. Winter days are mild but nights can be cold, and summer is very hot.
Three days cover Marrakech, and a day trip to the Atlas or Essaouira makes five days ideal. Trekkers should allow more time for Toubkal.
Most travellers connect through the Gulf, Casablanca or a European hub to Marrakech Menara Airport. Direct flights from Europe are frequent.
